Furteelay Dance
Rebuilding a championship Bhangra academy around the footage they already had
The Challenge
Furteelay wins national Bhangra competitions and performs at Pistons halftime, but none of that reached anyone landing on their website. Their strongest asset, years of competition footage, sat on YouTube while the site showed almost none of it. Registrations ran through a WordPress form plugin into a Zapier automation, which meant a paid plugin licence and a paid Zapier tier standing between a parent filling in a form and the academy seeing it. Their class locations were also out of date, still listing studios they had moved on from.
Our Approach
We built the site around their own video. The hero is their competition reel, encoded in-house from the 4K master and served directly rather than through a YouTube embed, so there is no third-party player and no tracking cookies on the landing view. Four video categories pull from their real playlists, and the championship wall lists only wins we could verify against the titles of their own uploads. All three forms, class registration, studio rental, and event booking, post straight into monday.com, with registrations landing on the board the academy was already using so their existing status workflow carried over untouched. That removed the Zapier tier and the form-plugin licence in one step.
