Terms of Service

Balanced Designs provides website redesign services for small and growing businesses. Our services consist of two tiers:

Demo Redesign: Redesign of 1–2 key pages or sections, delivered as a hosted preview or code handoff, one round of minor revisions, and delivery within 5–10 business days of payment. Pricing per your invoice.

Full Redesign: Complete redesign of your agreed-upon scope, up to two rounds of revisions, final codebase or deployment handoff, with timeline communicated per project. Pricing per your invoice.

Unless explicitly agreed upon in writing, our services do not include: ongoing maintenance or hosting after delivery, SEO copywriting or content creation, third-party integrations not discussed upfront, domain registration or DNS management, or backend development not specified in your project.

The Demo fee is due in full at checkout before any work begins, per the amount quoted. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Upon your decision to proceed with a Full Redesign, you will receive a checkout link for the remaining balance (total cost minus the Demo credit). Work does not begin until the balance is paid in full.

The core redesign service is a project-based payment with no ongoing obligation. Optionally, clients may enroll in a monthly Hosting & Maintenance Plan after project delivery. Plans renew automatically and may be cancelled at any time with 30 days written notice.

All Demo payments are non-refundable once work has begun. Work is considered begun within 24 hours of payment confirmation. If you request a cancellation within 24 hours and before work starts, we will issue a full refund at our discretion.

If a full redesign project is cancelled mid-production, payment for work completed to that point is non-refundable. The remaining unearned balance (if any) will be returned based on the percentage of work not yet completed, assessed at our sole discretion.

Upon receipt of full payment, all rights to the final delivered design files and codebase transfer to you. You own the work outright and may use, modify, sublicense, and deploy it for any purpose without restriction or additional payment to Balanced Designs.

If you pay for a Demo but do not proceed to a Full Redesign, the demo deliverable is provided for evaluation purposes only. You may not publish, deploy, or use the demo output commercially without purchasing the Full Redesign or obtaining a separate written license.

Balanced Designs retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials (e.g., before/after comparisons) unless you notify us in writing that you object.

One (1) round of minor revisions is included — adjustments to colors, fonts, text, or small layout tweaks. Structural changes or page additions are not included.

Up to two (2) rounds of revisions are included. Revisions must be submitted as a consolidated list, not in piecemeal messages over multiple days.

Additional revisions beyond what is included in your project tier are available through the Premium Hosting & Maintenance Plan ($300/month), which includes up to 5 revisions per month. Unused revisions do not roll over.
